In case you missed it, I posted this on X a few weeks back…

Yes, I am officially on YouTube now.

The only problem is…I’m not entirely sure what I should make my channel about and the type of content that would be most useful.

So I wanted to get some feedback from the people that stop what they’re doing in the middle of their day, even if it’s just 5 minutes, to read my emails (seriously, I don’t take that lightly).

After all, if you’re on my email list then statistically you’re likely to be the most engaged members of my audience…

…so it just seemed logical to ask you all first.

And while I will continue to post on X, LinkedIn, and this newsletter, I knew I could be doing more (hence, starting a YouTube channel).

Speaking of YT, I’ve been a guest on a few podcast recently including the conversation I had with Steve P. Young on the App Masters podcast.

The problem with podcast like this though is that we inevitably also talk about:

  • What Cal AI did to scale to million dollar months

  • What our influencer marketing strategy was

  • How we ran day to day ops

  • Etc, etc

Which is helpful until it isn’t, because you can’t (and shouldn’t) try to take what we did and copy us 1:1.

I want to bring more relevant, evergreen principles and strategies that can appeal to the broader market to help as many people as possible, whether you’re just starting to build your first app or you need help scaling past that 10k, 20k, or 100k/month ceiling.

And comparing YT to the other platforms I’m currently sharing my expertise on, you can just create much more engaging content using video which I’m excited to jump into.

So my 3 questions to you are this:

  • What types of videos do you want to see?

  • What names in the app or online money space do you want me to bring on for conversations?

  • Do you have any cool channel name ideas? (this one is mostly a joke)

And if you haven’t subscribed to my channel yet (I wouldn’t have expected you to yet since there aren’t any videos up yet), you can subscribe by clicking this link right here.

Looking forward to hearing what you guys come up.

P.S. here’s how you can work with me and stay updated on the all the content I put out:
